Wr0k is S4 at the moment.
My Team Leader is a moron. He called a meeting with his 2IC and 3IC today without telling the rest of us. A call was left waiting because we were busy for entirely too long.
Only he and one other on the desk have worked for the company longer than I have, and only one more (the 2IC) have been with the helpdesk longer than I have. I'm far from stupid and know the client pretty well. I have a really good repore with the users.
What's the biggest responsibility I've been given? Doing up new documentation for a single procedure.
The 2IC and 3IC? Dealing with all the new printers being rolled out along with the network link upgrades.
TL talks to his mates on the phone during work hours (of which he's present for only a few) and disappears for long periods without letting us know where he's going and for how long.
I went to one of our high-ups (who used to be on our desk long ago) and told her about it. She spoke to him, and after that, he put in a meeting request for myself and two others tomorrow. He claimed that he was splitting up the meetings because we obviously can't just close the desk and that was why he and $2IC and $3IC had met today. I don't buy it.
Two other's I work with (both ladies) believe that he is sexist. For myself, I don't believe that fully. It could be that, though. He takes e-mails away from the lady who sits next to me and gives her really stupidly easy stuff instead, as though she's totally incompetant. OK, she's not the best, but how else will she learn but the same way the rest of us did?
I intend to not keep quiet at all tomorrow, but I really don't know how to approach it all. As you can probably tell, I'm VERY peeved about the whole thing.
