so, I have an unattended-installation disk. It checks out ok on a 450MHz Gateway box.
I go into a lab with ~20 units, apparently identical 1.8GHz P4 Gateway boxen.
The disk works fine on two of them. On all the rest, it gets into the initial "inspecting hardware configuration", blanks the screen, and never comes out.
Hardware's the same (expect maybe the generation of video card).
BIOS settings are the same.
Linux (FC3) installed fine on all of these machines. (harrumph. But I need Windows installs.)
Anybody have any ideas? Pointers to info? *ANYthing* ?
