Well, for me and my sister, it's only a couple hundred kms, but when you consider either of my parents and their siblings, it gets...interesting.
My parents live here in Australia (near Sydney) now. My mom has a sister in Washington State, a brother in Tennessee, a sister in Cape Town (South Africa) and another sister who seems to travel between Michigan and South Africa....I'm not sure where she and her husband officially live these days!! My dad has a brother somewhere in central USA, and his other two brothers are in South Africa, though not near each other.
So I guess, very roughly speaking, 25,000 miles = 40,233 kms, round trip from Sydney, through America, to SA and back to Sydney direct. |
