I just don't like raisins baked into things; chalk it up to one of those quirks, because I like 'em fine on their own. With your average oatmeal-raisin cookie, I'll just ignore them and focus my attention on the cinnamon and oatmeal and other good stuff. In this case I'd have to go through and pick them out so they don't muck up the taste of the chocolate-- more work, y'see.
Belgian chocolate, though... Okay, if it's really good quality, you're right, it'll be worth it.
