Auckland might still be a tad too big for my taste, so perhaps one of the other three major cities. I've seen Wellington and Christchurch, both charming places. I've lived in Dunedin for three months, and it was quite nice, but apart from being far from the rest of the world, it's far from a lot of New Zealand as well. Auckland probably has better weather, though.

Oh well, I'm currently happy with being Dutch, but I don't guarantee I'll stay here forever...
