all we ever do is rush. So it was no surprise when I, with a stack of pizza in boxes piled 12 high, was running on Livermore Street trying to get just a little extra tip from the Italian gentlemen in the black pinstripe suits.
She, on the other hand was rushing from one store with another pile of things. In her case it was wall and seating fabric samples for her rapidly failing interior design business. Her mind was wandering, as it does, and as was causing her business to fail.
Between the two of us, and a wet cement patch, we made a lovely mess of the sidewalk and our carried loads. Not much to do but fall in love when you're covered in cement, fired from your job and out of business, with 8 shovel-holding construction workers laughing oh-so-very-hard at you.
Now...we run a business together! I manage the money, she manages the design, and our city has the best looking cardboard packaging of any. The name of the business?
