Want to know what my rationale was? "If we're going to have the inconveniences of the city, we might as well have the benefits!" Hence, move as close to the centre as possible. Except that the stuff we could afford to do that brought us downtown, we can't afford to do anymore no matter how close we are. Life, huh? :)
The only thing keeping us out of Steveston was the lack of apartment options. If ever I'm in a position to buy, I'll be right in there, browsing those condos that are a blight on the waterfront. Like all the other frustrated yuppies! |
