Seriously, though; for those who like city life, like myself, Vancouver is one of the most wonderful cities I know. I believe I once heard it described as "the world's largest playground." Seems appropriate. Lovely mountains, beautiful seasides, clement weather (I actually like misty rains, thank you; try on the thunderstorms and tornadoes we get 'round here, if you want something to gripe about), wonderful restaraunts, awesome sushi, REAL beer, and that BC smoked salmon that is to live for... I can't help myself; I'm in lust.
I'm sure it's not everybody's cup of BaS, but, for those as have the taste for it, it is indeed a wonderful place to be. |
