| Does it say you can install any old thing you downloaded off the internet? It is the company's computer after all.
Not wishing to seem flippant, but I'm stuck with clearing up my predecessor's rather lax attitude towards software licensing and I can tell you it ain't going to be cheap. Any software I've never heard of in my audits is another potential reason for the BSA to come kicking the door in.
You can prove its open source, which will give you a persuasive argument for not uninstalling it, but its not your computer so they do have the final say. |
