Everybody is interconnected. The US does not exist in a vacuum (much as some of us would like it to be). You can't reasonably judge US policies in isolation- responsible opinions and judgments will take into account other nations' foreign policies because they affect the decisions we come to, believe it or not.

I take the stand that war should not be entered into lightly, but there ARE cases where you must resort to it. The trouble with your arguments is that at their core, they assume that humans are rational beings. Some are less rational than others, and some of those sick souls end up at the helm of a country. Reasoning with them won't necessarily work. I know that I leave the door wide open for another Bush-bash. Go right ahead...but if you indulge in that regularly, don't wonder what's the big deal when your posts are taken with a whole salt lick.
