Try to be fair in your mudslinging. And I quote:

If a humanitarian benefit of something done to further US policy should (and as you say, it is unlikely to) be the deciding factor in making a decision, then possibly it could qualify as being a reason. If not, any collateral benefit to others trumped up as being a cause is simply propaganda.


The case, being, whether it's possible to act in a way where interests may coincide instead of outright clash. If any OTHER administration did the actions in question, you might cut a little slack, but not this administration, oh no...any good intention in the action must be propaganda to placate people.

It looks like you are not judging the policies in themselves, but letting your dislike for Dubya cloud your judgment. My bit on other foreign policies alludes simply to the politics leading up to the Iraq war and France's blanket veto. I didn't think this was going too far afield since the TLP WAS regarding the Iraq war. I also think it only fair to judge the US by the SAME standards as everyone else.
