I'm curious because your view might have been limited to your business exposure. The CEO under whom I work is definitely fixated on our stock price. But then, that's why we pay him millions of dollars. Thing is, I don't know if he might also teach Sunday School or volunteer for Habitat for Humantity.
Business actions are generally predicated on the bottom line and on the health of the company. Not knowing how closely you worked with Bush, I'm fascinated by your impression of him--are there reasons you felt him more profit-oriented than other businessmen in similar positions?
