Math problem by MatthewDBA2005-10-04 12:21:07
  Period of a Pendulum by williamashbless2006-11-19 12:55:59
    Thanks! by MatthewDBA 2005-10-04 12:31:47
But now I have to worry about the relative weights of the bob and the pendulum rod (Who weighs more, Bob or Rod?). If the rod weighs a fair amount in relation to the bob then I'll have to calculate the moment of inertia of the pendulum, which could get hairy because the pendulum is not a very simple shape. I'll try the other formula.

It might take some experimentation...but by williamashbless2005-10-04 12:32:26
What's wrong with the first formula? by Michiel2005-10-04 12:48:45
Only applies with all the mass at the bob. (n/t) by williamashbless2005-10-04 13:16:10
