So, how does one tell by ts0032005-10-04 06:57:49
An unusual suggestion by oot 2005-10-04 10:52:02
Get a book or read some articles that are intended to help gay kids come out to their parents.

A lot of the techniques in the books are useful for any situation in which you're giving your family news they don't want to hear.

And some of the potential negative reactions are similar:
1. No you're not/no you don't
2. OH MY GAWD IT'S ALL MY FAULT
3. You're just saying that to punish me because you think I did something wrong WELL I DIDN'T I'M A PERFECT PARENT AND THIS IS ALL _YOUR_ FAULT
4. You're just doing it for attention
5. Pass the potatoes please. No sorry, I didn't hear anything. Pass the salt please. Huh? Nope, didn't hear you. Pass the butter please. Lalala I can't hear you...
