Class limitations of a single parameter (like mass ratio) can easily be set.

Also, quite frankly, I don't care if Earth is called a planet, Sun's moon, asteroid or whatever. It's a name, nothing more. The trouble with this "planet" name now seems to me to be because people want to scientifically describe Pluto as a planet and dismiss Xena as a chunk of debris so that there's no need to change anything in school textbooks or ($deity forbid) change their view of the universe. (Can you imagine astrologists trying to make out your future based on hundreds of planets?) Sentimental bs.
