Maybe the d12 has rounder edges than the d20 ? Is maybe a little "harder" ?

But the only thing I can say for sure is that the d4 stops the quickest of the ones I have. ;-)

I could imagine the angle of one egde hitting the table in respect to the center of the dice determines how much the dice is slowed down by one edge hitting the table.

The difference in angle between the D20 and D12 maybe not that big, so there the fact that the D20 hits more edges while rolling might slows it down faster.

I will check with mine, when I get home. ;-)
