| Of course, I exercised six days a week and my plain old job was physically demanding as all get out.
So, I figure I probably ate 5-7k calories a day and still had six pack abs. Then I hurt my knees, got out of the Army, quit exercising. Oh boy....did that ever suck. I went from 205 to 230 in a matter of months. Had to radically change my eating habits, and even though I'm back down around 210, a lot of the lean muscle mass is gone. I figure at this point, I could probably get down to around 190 if I tried--maybe even 185-- whereas when I was in shape, I probably couldn't have gotten down to 200 if I wanted to. There was nothing there to lose. *sigh* I miss being in that kind of shape. |
