| so I started working on a new quilt for my bed yesterday. I got the fabrics picked out, cut 160 pieces (ok, using plexiglass templates), and pieced the center part and all 16 arcs in about 10 hours. I should be able to finish piecing the giant dahlia part today, and then it's off to the quilt store for background fabric. I won't have pictures ready for a couple of days...
But I got the center part to lay flat, which is a major accomplishment for me. :-D
Accurate cutting and careful sewing has finally paid off. |
