ATTN: W:ET players: by RetiQlum2 2005-09-12 21:55:14
We have all this talk about new maps. I see two jobs we have; one is to find new maps for the 2-4 players per side we mostly end up with and create a new campaign based around those. The second is to create a campaign that is good for more than 4 players per side.

A 'big campaign' if you will. That would be for things like daybreak, baserace, temple, etc. that shine with many players.

Agree, disagree, are we talking on the same page, or am I reading and entirely different book.

I think we should still keep the traditional maps, but I think three campaigns would be useful. Two for the small groups, 1 for large numbers of UFies.

And of course a test campaign to keep the ability to try out new maps from time to time. There could even be seasonal maps, such as the 'Santa at the North Pole' type maps, or maps for Halloween, etc.

Another map that I would like to try is the basketball map where you take the gold from the center and bounce off a platform and drop it through the hoop.

Discuss. Can someone please repost this after rollover?
