Yes, here....

I'm not overly familiar with RS-422, however I do know is is a differential signal
instead of a single-ended signal like RS-232. This gives it a measure of noise
immunity and enables longer distances - hence it's use in industrial environments.
I've seen it use only 4 wires, in theory connect TX+ to RX+ and TX- to RX-. I don't
know what, if any, hardware handshaking is necessary.
