on here. I haven't seen the "righties" here say that Blanco refused to declare the state of emergency for quite some time (if I remember them ever saying it at all). There's just too much bru-ha-ha made, in my opinion, over the fact that Bush & Co did in fact request the evacuation, given all the screwups after the storm.
