If you have efficient ambulance service in your location, NEVER, NEVER let somebody drive you to the hospital if you're having a heart attack, a seizure, an anaphylactic attack, or any other serious problem. NEVER. Ambulances aren't just glorified taxis; they're mobile emergency rooms. They can give you drugs, shock your heart, and provide other supportive measures that can save your life. The driver of the car can't do any of that.
And for God's sake never drive yourself. If you pass out, you may very well kill not just yourself but other people. |
