I just wanted to give a little perspective on the caffeine vs migraine issue. The two can be interrelated. My daily headache feels more like what others describe as a caffeine withdrawal headache, but it comes with migraine "aura"--sensitivity and false images/sounds/etc.
And caffeine is a major part of controlling my migraines. SciSSorS says caffeine isn't necessary, but I've never been able to break one without it, even with narcotic painkillers.
Anyway, thanks for the sympathy. I manage to get through part-time college classes and do a little contract work, though I'm largely leeching off my dad. Not fun at 24, but I've learned not to let my pride make all the decisions for me. I just don't know how I'll manage when I "grow up" and can't use college as an excuse anymore. |
