I used to have to call them for the same issues so often on the Inspiron 3800's and 4000's, I had the phone techs scripts memorized for half a dozen problems. I'd do all the troubleshooting ahead of time, call them up, tell them what I did and what part I need to fix the problem.
I saw the same issues with broken keyboards, floating mouse pointers, dead LCD displays, etc so many times on these machines it was ridiculous. At the time, we had about 40 laptops at our site and Dell contracted techs came out almost weekly. |
