because if "You Cannot Illegally Lend or Copy This Disk" is really true, this means it is materially impossible (can not) to lend or copy that disk IL-legally, no?
That means that lending and copying of said disk are LEGAL.
The marking on the first one is a typo: "do not Bend" is a perfectly safe warning on any disk, be it CD-material, vinyl (well, that could be bent a BIT, but usually didn't have many bits on them) or "hard disk".
And "warning" someone to "not do something illegal" is superfluous, isn't it?
Either they 've set their mind on "transgressing the law", so the warning doesn't help, or they didn't mean to perform any illegal act, so why the warning?
