In the building where I work, we have several rehearsal studios, 2 of which are equipped for bands: drumkit, backline, some mics and amplification for voice or weird instruments. Users are required to fill in a feedback form on every visit, mainly to report broken gear. Going through those forms this morning, the following comment stuck out: "Drumkit does not have electricity" Yes. So what did you expect? Should I connect mains voltage between the hi-hat and the basedrum pedal? Makes you wonder if all the drummer jokes might actually hold some truth... </rant>
