But then MySQL's parser makes UseMod's parser/renderer look good.

(For the uninitiated, that's like saying that $browser makes MSIE's box model and CSS support look good, or $operatingsystem makes Windows ME's stability record look good.)

If the table name is correctly quoted, then that and context should ensure that it should never be confused be a reserved word. It *really* shouldn't ever conflict with types.
