You can say a lot of bad things about Dell by Control 2005-09-12 01:42:48
but their tech support is speedy. I've been having some overheating problems lately, and just called them this morning.

Told me to perform a diagnostic run (supplied on their WinXP disc), and report back. Unless there's some main hardware failure, they'll send out a tech this week to swap the heatsink on the spot.

So let's just hope that not an empty promise.
