  • It works (for certain vague values of "works")
  • Development is fast
  • It doesn't behave like anything else on the market
  • It's fine for small apps and frontends, but using it in a massive backend transactional environment is shooting yourself in the foot head
  • The majority of coders on the planet use and support it

And I'm even lower on the totem pole... I usually use server-side VBScript.
