Was out at a UFie meet all day :) One thing I want to make clear: I don't care if -private firms- hire Blackwater to protect private property. I do care if the National Guard is overwhelmed because too many of them have been shipped to Iraq and Afghanistan and elsewhere to do the job of protecting the public good, and 'private security firms' are hired instead. That's wrong in my opinion. If that's an issue, then bring the NG back home to do the job they should be doing and hire Blackwater to do the merc job in Iraq. And -that's- why I want to know who's paid them. Of course, if a corporation was hiring a private security firm and has them patrol public streets and entering buildings not owned by that corporation I have additional problems with the situation. Need clarification. Need to know who hired them. Need to know what they were hired for and what limits were placed on them. KS
