PostgreSQL vs MySQL by notdeadyet2005-09-11 13:54:25
MySQL has very few advantages over PostGres by Myke2005-09-11 14:14:11

The only bias I see is yours by Freakazoid 2005-09-11 17:46:41
i've installed and used MySQL and PostgreSQL. PostgreSQL installed like a dream, no problems whatsoever. MySQL had nothing but problems, took me three attempts before it would actually install right (and this was a compile from source, no compile problems, but installing was a pain in the arse)

not to mention funtionality wise, MySQL is nowhere near PostgreSQL, despite what you might claim. PostgreSQL is a real RDMS, MySQL is more like a spreadsheet with frilly extras.
