If you are without a girlfriend/spouse:
You don't have to walk on eggs during "that time" every month.
You can do things logically.
No arguments.
You don't have to fight for the covers in bed (or the remote or what movie to watch or what TV show).
You don't have to do all the dishes for two - just one.
As mentioned before, no in-laws.
If you don't like a job, you can quit and move.
You don't have to memorize the phrase "yes dear" and have it ready all the time.
It is legal and ethical for you to lust after memeber of the opposite sex.
You can pick your nose, break wind or burp without being admonished.
You don't have to worry if someone doesn't come home on time.

This is from experience - 32 years of marriage. But somehow, I've never split so I think it's just a difference of choices - pick yer own frustration.

By the way - I STILL do all my own laundry.
