was my point ripping by overhead at mach 1. I'll try and slow down for you.

Every time you point the finger at, say, a soldier who did something wrong, we try to balance it out. Take Abu Gharib for example. Some fairly bad stuff, but after it came out I pointed out to people that:

A) Some soldiers, or even a whole unit, misbehaving is no reason to criticize the President and the entire war effort.
B) Those guilty would be punished and
C) Sadam did much worse when he was in power, and many regimes still do it on a daily basis.

I was quickly told "well, we KNOW Sadam is bad, and we KNOW there's other evil regimes, but we're talking about BUSH!"

Now, do you understand the part about perspective? There's this handy site (www.dictionary.com) where you can look up the word if you're unfamiliar with it, and then I'll explain to you how it applies here if you wish. And then maybe you'll understand how this relates to your earlier comment.
