You have completely missed the point that Bush was not the only leader involved in this fiasco, in fact his actions were dependent on the Governor of Louisiana who actually waited 24 hours before giving the Feds the green light to move in.

Mary Landrieu was on Chris Mathews this morning and got absolutely owned. They didn't play softball. They asked about the buses, how she blocked funding for the levee system (The Feds Match State Funds) etc. I didn't know a red face could show through TV makeup. It was classic.

Nancy Pelosi tried the same song and dance on CNN on Thursday and got hammered too.
