D&D 1st edition was absolutely great... On top of having had countless hours of fun playing anything from an (eventually) mighty Alphatian sorceress to a rather evil little halfling and a pacifistic Elf from the Hollow World I guess you can blame the Gazetteer series of the old game for me starting to take some serious interest into getting really fluent in English language.

Pendragon was fun to get to know, but most of my buddies found it to be too complicated, leaving me with too few players/game masters.

Another fun game was Shadowrun, which I played as 1st edition...
