One of the really frustrating parts of living by hadji2005-09-11 00:42:23
  For starters... by Mr.Taco 2005-09-11 00:57:33
- You can do what you want! You only answer to yourself. If you suddenly feel like going to the movies or staying up later playing computer games you just do it (am not endorsing Nike here!).

- You don't have to put up with a SO who wants you to come home straight after work/school/whatever-you-are-doing and do that persons bidding.

- If you want to go and buy the new super-duper-cool-gadget that you just saw on the net, AND have the money, just can just buy it. Very often a SO will protest and say that 'we' can't afford that kind of luxuries - even though the SO just spend an outragous fortune on his/her own hobby.

- when you are single you always come home to an empty home. That's normal when you're living alone and one of the principal conditions for being single. It's more disturbing to be alone most of the time if you are living in a relationship. Then you truly feel alone!

And I could go on and on and on. Believe me these few examples have been taken directly from my own experience. (I have been married before you see.) So it's not so bad to be single. Yes, I prefer having a SO, but if you have choosen the wrong SO, living as a single is to be preferred.
