turns out one of the people i've gotten into a habbit of chatting specs with over lunch (usualy the latest news on high enery particle physics) turns out to be x mil, and I'm invited to tag along with him and his buddies on the next trip to the range.

his sidearm of choise is a desert eagle... I've not had a gun in my hands since target shooting at my grandfathers 2 years back (i don't get out much) and that was a 22 rifle.. I've got some good accuracy though.. nothing to impress them (5 year consecutive winner for accuracy rifle and small arms catagories) ..

any advice?
