Resolution to my dilemma by j.butterfly 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Dilemma

When I went in to work yesterday, I had pretty much decided that I wasn't going to say anything to my boss about said dilemma above. About two hours into my shift, I just couldn't take it anymore, it was eating me up. The coworker involved, had called in sick, and wouldn't be in until later. So I went to my supervisor, and told her I had something to tell her, and that I didn't know how to really say it... so I just came out and said it. She told me I did the right thing by telling her, and so she and I went and told our boss. They said they would keep it confidential, and not say anything until the girl decided to come to them.

Well, she came in later...in casual conversation she mentioned to my other co worker of her plans as well. She told her that her last day was Aug 31st. This, and she hadn't even discussed it with our boss. Anyhow, it turns out she talked to him after we all left, and gave her notice.

Despite the fact , we are short staffed...I simply have lost all respect for this girl.

She pulled another stunt today. We agreed to rotate lunches, but she didn't like going at 11a.m. She said that should would go at 1pm...and me and my other coworker could rotate between 11 and 12. In the event she needed to go earlier, she would just ask one of us to swap... Well, today at 10:50a.m she decides to tell me she is going at 11 for lunch. I told her that I am suppose to go today at 11. She said well, I said if I needed to swap, I would just ask. Well, first off she didn't ask, she told me. Second of all, she told me 10 minutes before I was to take my break. I thought this was really rude. I had told her , what if I had made plans...she said do you have plans. I told her no, but that was beside the point. I told her to go ahead and go... I was so p4. She is such a brat. I will be glad to see her go.

She is also a bit of a smart arse, and is rude to the customers.

I guess one day she will grow up...sounds like she has a lot to learn. Aside from my rant here ...things are good. I hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
