| My home was not designated my primary place of performance, or some such nonsense. So I could claim mileage distance from the office to the jobs, but I'm about 50 miles from the (corporate) office, so I'd lose 100 miles easy every time I went north. Plus, I couldn't count the 80 miles each way to my cubicle, which is on a customer site. Now, my home is officially where my employer has told me to work, so I get to claim work related mileage from the driveway. He's basically giving me $82 additional dollars every time I head out the door. :) |
