Here on the east coast US, I'm considered pretty far left. That's mainly because I could care less if a couple guys wanted to get hitched, and I really don't see a problem with legalizing marijuana. I haven't touched it since high school, but if another adult wants to light up (outdoors or in private, of course), then I'm fine with it.

Those views seem to be the norm in B.C., for instance, as far as I can tell.
