Am I the only one who feels this way? by donldson 2005-08-16 14:39:42
While watching the news the other day, the story of Cindy Sheehan protesting came on. No, this isn't a question about that (please put your LARTS away...atleast for now). What concerned me were the counter-protesters.

My thoughts is that protesting an anti-war protest is the biggest waste of time ever. With the war causing the military to not make quota and costing billions a day, wouldn't a much better way to show support be to enlist or offer to pay higher taxes? Don't get me wrong, I am not going after people who support the war, everyone is entitled to their opinions. My problem is with people who support something, and devote the time and energy to fighting those who don't, rather than to something that will actually advance that cause. I compare it to supporting UserFriendly by going around and yelling at those who don't.

So am I the only person who feels this way? It has been nagging me lately, and this is the most diverse, understanding, yet opinionated group I know, so lets hear some opinions.
