Someone finally posted it! It's been kicking around on El Reg and BBC News all day, I just wanted to see who would post it first ;-)

I'm glad someone is finally asking about the logic of this cretinous idea as it's straight out of the same school of thought as the UK 'voluntary' ID card scheme. It won't be of any use unless you legally compel porn site proprietors to move from redhotllamaaction.com to redhotllamaaction.xxx*, at that point the Internet will have fundamentally changed.

* No sites at those addresses :-)
