At least for anything that has to be a computer-regocnizable short name.

From a programmers point of view :
- You can't practically use it for column names or variables, if you don't what to end up in quotes-hell.

So that a "normal" person could get the point:
- Consider that you would allow spaces. Do you then have special rules in place, so that spaces at the begining and end are not allowed? If not how do you know if or if not spaces are at the end of something that is printed out?
