The U.S. is spending much more money than we are taking in with Iraq monitarily but I think we have gained much for future world peace and stability of that reigon of the world. Now, in the future, the trick is going to be pulling the troops out without causing instability in the that part of the world.

As for what will happen in the future...I can only hope for the best that we find a good middle road to travel and people that are willing to take a stand and do what is necessary to keep things moving towards a goal of peace; where things like what is happening in Iraq is not necessary and other brutal dictators are not able to do similar things worldwide as they are now.
