than they are gaining. That money comes from US taxpayers, and goes to companies like Haliburton - without very good oversight, I might add.

Never mind helping them rebuild - how about Iraq's desire to do business with a country that attacked them without provocation?

I still have to wonder how much the US will charge Iraq in damages? The winner in any war has traditionally demanded reparations from the loser. And Iraq only has oil to pay with.
