I guess my idea is "better the devil you know than the devil you don't". As far as the second, which I hadn't actually thought about, I wonder if it's too late for that. Do you have any idea where I could find any hard figures on how much money the US is actually making out of Iraq? I just wonder how likely the Iraqis would be to do business with someone who promised to help them rebuild, then walked away.
