You're describing peace_man as evil. (At any rate, that's the word I use for people who receive pleasure from watching others suffer, and from inflicting misery on others.)
I don't believe he's evil. I disagree with many of his statements and feel that he doesn't have a great case for his argument, but I don't think he's evil in that sense. And I don't feel it's appropriate, even rhetorically, to call someone evil or to imply that they enjoy the suffering of others.
Perhaps you're tired of having to argue your position? That's understandable; but it's not fair to take it out on Peace_man like that. If that's what's happening, just take a break. Relax. Then come back and, if such be your fancy, tear him to shreds - *with reasoned argument*. |
