I use Microsoft because I find it adequate for my purposes. I don't ask a whole lot out of an operating system, or a database system, or an "office suite", and Microsoft works as well as I need.
I am aware that people have noticed flaws, or what they consider flaws, in Microsoft products. I wouldn't go so far as to say that such things are hoaxes; I would say that either (a) I haven't experienced them, or (b) they don't seem a particular inconvenience to me.
Basically, I guess I expect everything I use (not just computer problems) to be flawed, so I'm not surprised when I find something that is - or particularly upset. So I use both MS and Linux (dual boot W2K Advanced Server/Debian 3.0) and find them both adequate. That's all I ask. |
