I know, I'm shocked, too. :-p Just because most of us outside of Texas and the Midwest aren't used to ever hearing a gun go off unless someone's being mugged, doesn't make it "wrong." Lots of people who own large plots of land choose to fire weapons on them, and are perfectly within their rights to do so if no-one's endangered. That they were abnormally distressed by it only means they're less in touch with the culture divide than their "opponents."
