That's fine, but you are making broad statements about all cats that just aren't true. Just like dog haters make about dogs.
I happen to like both, in general. And in my (admittedly anecdotal) experience, there are stupid cats and there are stupid dogs, just like there are stupid birds and stupid humans. Are cats smarter than dogs or visa versa? Depends on how you measure intelligence, doesn't it?
I'm not going to go through your post point by point, but I will say that when I was down and my dog tried to lick my face I did not find it helpful or comforting. That was the worst time for him to start that, IMO. And he didn't do it just when I was sad or every time I was sad, it was a 'when he felt like it' thing not attached to my mood. *shrug* |
